This device will convert a USB port to serial for those machines that require serial input.  Most newer computers do not come with a DB9 Serial port any longer, so you will need something like this to make the connection.
This device comes with the FTDI Chipset which is Windows 10 and 11 compatible, It is also faster than the old Prolific chips.
