Tool Bars are groups of icons arranged along the perimeter of the screen. The Tool bars provide quick access to commonly used funtions and are grouped into similar functions, The CORE tool bars are also color coded by function when possible to allow you to quickly find the icon you want.
Standard
The Standard Tool bar is comprised of 2 sets of tools, the left most set contains the options for inputting and outputting designs (copy, paste save and such), the right side contains most of the digitizing controls. Depending on your software level and options, you may or may not see all of the icons shown.|
Tool Box
The Toolbox is normally parked vertically down the left side of the screen, The top section contains the edit modes, the lower section contains controls for how the designs are viewed on the screen.
Tool Box Extra
The Tool box Extra contains several sections
The left most area contains controls for the Text and also any add ons you may have included.
The next grouping contains controls for optimizing your design
Align Tools
This tool bar allows you to align selected items as a group. Click the Align Tools link above for details
Properties
The Properties window is located along the left, at the top. This control has 2 functions, depending on whether or not you are editing the design. With nothing selected , you will have a minimal control with only 2 fields. The notes section is for any information you would want to be able to recall when this design is opened. Some examples might be "use white thread on blue shirts, blue thread on white shirts" The Keywords section is used to help you find the design later on, These keywords are attached to the design, and you can search for these items in the Library window, by right clicking
The second mode of the properties allows you to change the parameters of the selected parts, These will change depending on what type of block or blocks are selected. The design properties are covered in detail in the Design Properties section
Sequence View
The sequence view toolbox is one of the most powerful controls in the CORE program, From this one control you can reorder, show, hide, cut, copy , past and delete items

Library
The library provides quick access to your saved designs. You can also utilize CORE's database features for designs stored in the library

Navigator
The Navigator tab allows you to view the entire design regardless of your "Zoom Factor" The zoomed portion of the screen you can treat this area the same way you treat the normal screen, Use your scroll wheel to zoom in or out, position the shaded area to move around the design at the designated Zoom value.

Zoom Window

This shaded area represents the workspace viewable area. As you increase or descrease the zoom, the box will change size. You can also click and drag this box around on the canvas to move to a different area of the design

Zoom Factor
|
Slide this control left or right to increase or decrease the zoom on the design. You can also use the scroll wheel on the mouse to zoom in or out in the navigator or on the normal workspace.

Fit to Screen
|
Click to fit the design to the workspace
