Default Style (Embroidery Settings)
We have created many different pre-made styles for you to choose from , these settings work well for the type of fabric selected. You can choose which you would like to be as the default, or you can create your own default set. Creating a Style is a more advanced operation and you should get more familiar with the operation of the program before creating a custom style

In the even t that there is no color information , the system will use the default colors for that palette

Default Image Editing Program
Core allows you to designate an image editing program of you choosing, The default is Paint because it comes included in all Windows installations. If you have a more sophisticated drawing tool such as Corel, PhotoShop, you can select that as the image editor. The image editor is for raster images such as BMP, JPG etc.. there is no need for an image editor for vector files as the vectors are directly editable within the CORE program,

Import environment
Allows you to import a backup of your custom files you have made earlier
Export environment
This option allows you to create a backup of any custom configurations you have made to the program, This does not back up your embroidery designs. If you have created custom fonts, custom thread palettes, fills, etc... You will want to export the environment periodically and save a copy, If you should ever need to move to another computer, reinstall, or experience a catastrophic failure of the pc, this will be the only way to restore your custom settings.
You should store this backup on an external source such as a cloud server, Drop Box, Usb thumb drive or some other device. In the event your computer crashes, you will be happy that you did.
