Text Height
|
Set the text height, the size can be in metric or inch depending on your settings in the General Options

Character Space
|
Change the distance between characters by percentage. Most fonts do not need any adjustment, However, you can change this if you prefer.

Line Space
|
Vertical distance between lines of text. This setting also controls the vertical distance between characters while in StairStep mode. This number can be positive or negative

When creating a single arc of text using the circle frame, this will cause the letters to revers arch

Font Preview/Select
|
Displays a preview of the current font. Click this to select by preview icon

Font Select
|
Drop down lit of all fonts in your system. Fonts are categorized by type
F is a normal Font
M is a Monogram
m is a micro font for small letters
A is an Appliqué font
V is a Vintage font
P is a Puff font
Depending on your system level and options, you may not have all the different font style types

True Type Creation
|
Choose from either Satin or Artwork, If you want to add text to a design but would rather hand digitize it than have it automatically created, use the Artwork option

True Type
|
This will allow you to use your Windows fonts as embroidery fonts. Opening this will open the Windows fonts folder and allow you to select from any Windows TTF font you have installed Keep in mind that TTF conversions are generally not of the same quality as the system fonts. And some TTF's especially those you can download from free sites are poorly constructed and will result in a poor stitch output

Monogram Decoration
|
Most monogram fonts have built in decorations, this can range from arrows on the left and right of a diamond font to full floral backgrounds. Each font has its own unique set. If your selected monogram has decorations, you will be able to select from this drop down

Text Alignment
|
Left , right , center. Used for multi Line only
|

Path Type
|
Normal This is the default frame for the system and supports multi line and enveloping,
Circle Arch above, Arc Below, and multi line arcing
Monogram Create a 3 letter monogram from any font
Path Set text on a path
Vertical Arrange text in a vertical line

Optimize colors
|
Some fonts are multi color, Each character will stitch each color in sequence, if you would like to stitch each color for all letters , click this option. However, keep in mind that on a few letters, this option is probably best, While on many letters, stitching like this can cause the second color to not line up properly. Good hooping and proper backing is a must

Stitching Direction
|
Choose which letters stitch first
Left-Right Stitch left to right
Right -Left Stitch Right to left
Center-Right Start in center, stitch to left, then come back to center , finish on right (Center out) Left-Center Stitch left letter towards the center, move to right letter , stitch towards center (Center In)

Stair Step Letters
|
Allows any set of letters to be arranged automatically in a stair step/ The Step value can be negative or positive and is controlled by the line spacing number
