Start Command

The Start Command determines how this block interacts with the previous.
The list contains all the functions possible for any situation. The most common functions  would be Normal , or Trim
Normally you would only trim at the end of a block

End Command

The End Command determines how this block interacts with the previous.
The list contains all the functions possible for any situation. The most common functions  would be Normal , or Trim.
It would be redundant to enable a trim command at the start and end of 2 blocks in sequence and could cause a stitching anomaly

Tie In

A tie in is a series of small stitches set at the beginning of a block, this will help the embroidery machine  get started. You should enable a tie in on any block that follows a trim,  Most embroidery machines will do this automatically anyway, But you never know if someone has an older machine that did not have this capability

Repeat

How many times to repeat the tie. One is normally sufficient for most fabrics, Large satins on heavy canvas and such might require more. If you machine tends to not catch on the first few stitches, try increasing the repeat.

Tie off

A tie off in is a series of small stitches set at the end of a block, This is mandatory if you are going to trim after thsi block or else the thread will unravel.  Most embroidery machines will do this automatically anyway, But you never know if someone has an older machine that did not have this capability
You should enable a tie off  on any block that you intend to manually trim yourself (scissors)
