Digitizing Tools - Running stitch

To use this tool, left click on your mouse where ever you want change the direction of your running stitch.
The points will be either curves or corners depending on the settings in the Tools>General Options>Digitizing section
Click the mouse along your desired path until you have the path complete, when
You can change the length of each individual stitch in the properties box. You can also select in properties the running stitch type (motif etc) and a pattern.
This is a Standard running stitch created from the input points illustrated at the right

You will notice the ball gets larger as it progresses down the line, this effect is covered in the properties section and is possible with symbols and motifs
